Eduardo Arolas (1892-1824) has a short, tortured, bohemian life - just 32 years - but he wrote many tangos which have become classics.
He was largely self-taught and he wrote his first tango Una noche de garufa at 17, when he could not read or write sheet music.
Some tango historians credit Arolas with introduction of a bandoneon into tango music.
