New (tango) take on old European pop tunes

American Trio Liata produced an album of old European ballads in the early 2000s (look them up on Amazon). One of them is 1923 song Amapola. Beautiful.
TRACK: Liata – Amapola
French pop diva Patricia Kaas recorded this French chancon from the 1960s or 70s. I believe, originally it was written and performed by Jaque Brelle (apologies if the spelling is wrong).

I can not skip this. Absolutely can not. Originally Joe Dassin, an unforgettable French crooner of the 70s, sung Indian Summer. If you were a teen in USSR of the 70s and 80s, you surely remember this song. Splendid  nostalgic rendition by top-notch Quadro Nuevo.
TRACK: Quadro Nuevo-L’ete Indien
